Winter Youth Retreat, February 7-9, 2020 at Camp Akita, Logan, Ohio

Keynote Speaker Courtney Stevens serves as an associate pastor for youth and young adult ministry at Highland Presbyterian Church in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She is passionate about helping young people engage with God’s story through scripture, play, and recreation. She travels the world to find the best doughnuts and lives with her dog Remy.

Cost:$90 per participant if you register your group by January 15. $100 per participant after January 15.  Final Registration is February 3, 2020.

Directions to Camp Akita (Akita recommends against using a GPS)

29746 Logan-Hornsmill Road, Logan, Ohio 43138

 Akita is located approx. 1 hour & 15 minutes SE of Columbus.

Take US-33 East towards Lancaster approx. 18 miles.

Continue onto the Lancaster Bypass (follow US-33). Travel 16.5 miles.

Turn left at the Sugar Grove traffic light (onto S. Main Street). Travel 0.2 miles

(Begin to follow signs to Camp Akita)

Turn right onto Maple Street/Fairfield County Road #65

Cross the bridge and follow County Road #65 for 2.7 miles

Turn right at the white church onto Hurst Hill Road, which becomes Logan-Hornsmill Road.

Follow Logan-Hornsmill Road for 2.7 miles to the main entrance, which will be on the left.

2020 Winter Youth Retreat February 7-9, Individual Registration Form

  • I, the undersigned, being the parent or legal guardian of the child named above, permit my child to participate in all camp activities and certify that the above information is correct. I give permission for my child/me to be photographed during camp activities and for the Presbytery to use such photographs in publicity. I understand the Presbytery will not be responsible for medical expenses incurred, but that such expenses will be my responsibility as parent/guardian. In the case of accident/injury, I give PSV permission to seek medical attention for my child/me and arrange necessary transportation. I understand, that if my child needs emergency care that PSV will attempt to contact me immediately.
