Jim Wilson, widely known and highly respected throughout our Presbytery and beyond, has graciously agreed to serve as the Temporary Stated Clerk for the Presbyery of Scioto Valley. Jim has faithfully served the church in many ways throughout the PC(USA). In the Presbytery, Jim has served as moderator (1998-99), chair of council (1999-2001), stated clerk (2002-08), and on various committees. He currently serves on the Coordinating Team and as a co-moderator of the 2022 General Assembly Committee on Local Arrangements (COLA). At the General Assembly level, he has served as moderator of the Advisory Committee on the Constitution, as vice-moderator of the Committee on the Office of the General Assembly and the All Agency Review Committee. Jim is a popular teacher for educating clerks in the presbytery and an elder at the Broad Street Presbyterian Church, where he currently serves as the Clerk of Session. We offer our gratitude to Jim for his willingness to serve the presbytery in this important role in the midst of his very busy professional, church and personal life.
Jim Wilson is a ruling elder at Broad Street Presbyterian Church and its clerk of session. He previously served as stated clerk of the Presbytery from 2002 to 2008. He has served as a member of the Advisory Committee on the Constitution and the Committee on the Office of the General Assembly for the PCUSA. He is currently an at-large member of the Coordinating Team and a co-moderator of the Committee on Local Arrangements for the 2022 General Assembly.
