Participants prepare for a Prayer Walk…

The 2019 Big Tent event gathered Presbyterians from across the denomination for days of enlightening Bible study, inspiring worship, challenging workshops, interesting dialogue, informative exhibits, and times of fellowship, learning and prayer.
One of the major events during the Big Tent was the Ceasefire Walk in downtown Baltimore. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) joined with local Presbyterians for a walk and prayer stops to remember victims of gun violence in our cities.
A group of pastors and elders traveled from Scioto Valley to Baltimore to be inspired, educated, challenged and renewed in this year’s Big Tent event. The Big Tent is a bi-annual program of the PC(USA) staff and Office of the General Assembly.
