Some of the joys and responsibilities of a presbytery are the ordaining and installing of teaching elders and the commissioning of ruling elders. At these special worship services people of the presbytery gather together to affirm and celebrate the partnerships in ministry, which God has called and formed into being. To assist in the forming of the commissions for ordinations, installations, and commissioning’s, and in the ordering of these worship services, the following guidelines have been provided

The Presbytery of Scioto Valley Pulpit Supply list by regions. The honorarium for pulpit supply is $150 for one service, or $200 for two service, plus mileage at the IRS rate. (12.17.2019) revised 3.12.2020
The 2020 Per Capita was finalized at the February 18, 2020 Presbytery meeting and is $37.75.

The Commission for Nurture and Outreach seek to be a resource to assist congregations to be missional churches with the Presbyterian Church (USA). This partnership includes the Session-endorsed Neighborhood Mission Grant program which seek to honor the way your congregation reaches out in the name of Jesus Christ to your neighboring surroundings at that his time.
